One of the ways to identify potential "new" Rotarians is to be out in the community performing service that Rotary is known for. I have an incredible opportunity for our club to plug in and be of service in the midst of many like-minded people who wants to do good and be of service to those in need.  Please take a look at this opportunity coming up and sign up to get involved!


A new school year is like a new box of crayons - fresh, bright, and full of potential! However, as many as 5000 elementary and middle school students may not have the resources to start school with a backpack and school supplies this year.
Your willingness to serve at the event will allow backpacks to be filled with grade-specific school supplies with the goal of reducing the performance gap in our schools based on socio-economic status. Will you consider lending your hands in this opportunity to serve our community? Servant Leaders are needed to help in the following ways:
What: Set-Up (Set up tables and unpack supplies)
When: Thursday, August 11th | 2 PM - 5 PM
What: Assembly (Fill backpacks with supplies)
When: Friday, August 12th | 8:30 AM - 11 AM
What: Distribution (Hosts to guide families through the event, refreshment servers, backpack distributors)
When: Saturday, August 13th | Shifts between 7 AM - 2 PM
Where: LISD Leo Center located at 300 S W Dr, Leander, TX 78641.
