Feeding the hungry doesn’t need to be scary!
Oct 15, 2022 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

https://rotarianfruit.org/food-packing-2022/

Nearly 580 million meals have been packaged to date.

Hart's First Knight ceremony
Oct 21, 2022 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Don't miss the ceremony

The students learn the traits that knights possess and how they can live with those traits to become modern-day knights and make the right choices. The knighting ceremony is where each selected student from each class receives a medallion from a knight representing the current trait. Then they become part of the Gallery of Champions at their school.

This program teaches the students a code to live by and improves discipline at the school by at least thirty-five to fifty percent, giving the teachers more valuable teaching time.

Pints Polio Day
Oct 24, 2022 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Come out and join other Rotarians, Austinites, and concerned citizens to once-and-for-all help eradicate polio.

Since 1985 Rotarians worldwide have been united in the efforts to eradicate this deadly disease. Even though it’s no longer present in the USA, it still exists in very few countries worldwide. It’s Rotary’s signature “cause,” and we need your help to raise funds to help finish the fight.

On October 24th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Whitestone Brewery in Cedar Park, all proceeds from the sale of beverage(s) of your choice will get matched 2:1, thanks to the generous support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. That’s right… every $100 raised will turn into $300 of support for global eradication efforts. So enjoy your beverage of choice while meeting other great people and supporting a VERY worthwhile cause!

WHO PUT FUN INTO FUNDS!

Come on out and have fun while earning funds for the Club. When we serve at the HEB center, we make money for the general fund for the club. This goes a long way in paying our expenses and helps us expand the club.

So come on out and have a few laughs with your fellow Rotarians and others while capturing the excitement of the game. No TABC license is required, but we encourage you to get a very easy certification. https://www.360training.com/course/tabc-seller-server-training

WHO PUT FUN INTO FUNDS!

Want to have some fun and help the club raise money? Then you need to complete orientation at th HEB Center

Hockey and Basketball Season at the H-E-B Center is kicking off and as President Debbie Tam mentioned we have a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for our NW Austin Rotary Club by working the events.

When we serve at the HEB center, we make money for the general fund for the club. This goes a long way in paying our expenses and helps us expand the club.

There are a couple things you need to participate.

  1. You must attend an orientation at the H-E-B Center..
  • The next orientation is Tuesday November 29th at 6:00PM at the H-E-B Center. To attend please contact me Guerry Harris at guerryharris@hotmail.com.
  1. Optional: Obtain your TABC Certificate so you can serve beer and wine. https://www.360training.com/course/tabc-seller-server-training . Please provide me with a digital copy so we can put it on file with the H-E-B Center.
  •  While the TABC Certificate is not required we are limited on the amount of volunteers we can have by the number who are TABC certified. It's easy to get and only takes a couple of hours and can be done online.
